Wanna be rich? I tell you how.
Let me ask you a question first. Look around yourself. What do you see?
Did you find yourself surrounded by motivational books? “How to eat your frog”? “Rich dad or Poor dad”? Hah?
What channels are you following on YouTube? Motivational?
I just assume.
Do you wanna know how those who give nice speeches about being rich or success, got rich? By giving those dull speeches, selling books, motivational movies, seminars, and so on.
They are selling and selling. Giving nice speeches gaining more money and what do you get? What? Got motivated?
Hears the thing. Whether you want to do something or not. If you want, you fucking do it and there is no need for that. But If not, no one can make you do it unless you are a weak person. Are you weak?
You got delusion of being rich after some days, months or maybe years when you found nothing but false expectations about yourself. If you want something just do it. Do it right in the best way you can. If you did it good, if not fuck it.
You’ve learned that if you try hard every day of your life, you’ll gain everything you want. But that’s not how the world works. You could try hard and gain nothing. Study day and night but fail your exam. Work as twice as many others but gain less than them. The World isn’t just about preparation. Trying hard or be optimistic. There is dumb luck too. And most of the time you don’t get what you try for. Sometimes you are just not in the right place at the right moment. Maybe you’re born in a bad country or you’re born at a bad time in a good country. Like me, I was born in a great country at a bad time when mullahs are ruling.
They teach you to imagine you’ll be the one you want. And I say if you won’t. what then? what happened? You’ll be disappointed and upset because you didn’t get what you want. Throw out the imagination. Fuck it. Don’t wait until losing your hope. Throw it out. Live without it. Life is more beautiful without expectation. Because if you don’t get what you want. You won’t be upset about it. Live in now. Enjoy what you’re doing now. Enjoy the road, not the destination. Road itself is the destination.
Some of us aren’t meant to get what we want in life. Some aren’t going to be successful, not because of a lack of try. Just because life isn’t as easy as we think.
Don’t just fucking try with expectation. Try without any expectations. Don’t listen to those who say “you’re a loser”. I say if you’re a loser so be. But at least be the one who has perseverance.
Winston Churchill said, “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”
Be the one who at least tries before being a loser. Remember Jack Nicolson in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest? after not picked that thing up, His friends were looking at him disappointed.
He said, “But, I tried didn't I? goddamn it. at least I did that”.
So, at least try it. don’t try to be what they want you to be.
Try to be what you want. Knowing you may never get what you want but also knowing you dared to try for that.
